Aside from his role as Chief Brand Officer, Williams will serve as the executive producer for the newly announced record. The album is reported to include major recording artists and will feature artwork from Doodles resident artist Scott Martin, more popularly known as Burnt Toast. The album will be available for streaming and will be sold as an NFT. It is reported that the album will also include accompanying NFTs that have yet to be revealed.
In a video at the NFT NYC event, Williams shared that he is a big fan of the brand and added that “We’re going to build from the core community outward and bring Doodles to new heights, new levels.”
Additionally, Doodles announced its latest NFT project, Doodles 2 — the collection will be made up of millions of avatars, a big jump up from its original 10,000 piece collection. The new collection will not be hosted on the Ethereum blockchain, at the time of writing the brand has not shared any details as to which chain might be used.
Doodles continue to hire talent and grow with the addition of former Billboard President, Julian Holguin, who was appointed its new CEO in May.
