Digital Fashion Label Tribute Brand Raises $4.5M in Seed Round
Expanding its web fashion platform, led by Collab+Currency.
Digital fashion label Tribute Brand has just concluded its seed funding with $4.5 million USD to reshape the future of fashion. The round was led by Collab+Currency, a Web3 and cryptocurrency early-stage venture capital fund, along with contributions from several notable investors.
First launched in April 2020, Tribute Brand is best known for its contactless cyber fashion. Tribute Brand will use the funds to develop its own interoperable platform that will allow consumers to interact with its virtual styles.

“Tribute Brand has built a leading digital fashion brand that sits across physical, digital, and immersive spaces, inspired by digital ownership and unrestrained creativity,” Derek Edward Schloss, a partner at Collab+Currency, said.
The round was followed by notable DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations), businesses, and thought leaders supporting Tribute’s plans, which included Alice Lloyd George (Rogue VC), Flamingo DAO, Kanosei Ventures, Lattice Capital, Red DAO, Neon DAO, and TCG Crypto.
Angel investors also included gmoney and Megan Kaspar, both advocates for the growth and expansion of NFTs, crypto, and the overall Web3 space.
As the Metaverse creates a new setting for fashion, the web fashion company has created looks in partnership with the luxury fashion houses such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Carolina Herrera. Both drops have sold out.
