Dapper Labs and Los Angeles Rams Bring New Meaning to "Team NFTs" With Super Bowl LVI Ring
Becoming the first NFL franchise to partner with Dapper Labs for the 2022 Season.
Dapper Labs has announced its newest NFT project in new partnership with the NFL Super Bowl LVI champions, the Los Angeles Rams, recreating the championship ring as the first in its pipeline of several different collectibles the Rams will feature throughout the season.
Earlier this week, the Rams announced its partnership with Dapper Labs, becoming the first NFL franchise to partner with it on Team NFTs for the 2022 Season.
Team NFTs are collectibles made in partnership with individual NFL Teams to give fans a chance to represent their favorite teams on the NFL All-Day platform.
The NFT collection, which launched on Thursday, August 11, which will be housed on Dapper Lab’s officially licensed collectibles platform — NFL All Day.

“We really want to bring fans to L.A. to games to get them experiences in like suites on the field, in tailgates just for our fan base, and other things that we have up our sleeve that we think is really going to cultivate community and build kind of a FOMO experience,” Dapper Labs’ senior vice president of marketing, Dave Feldman, told Fortune.
The NFTs will be sold in three tiers — common (“Starter”), rare (“All-Star”), and legendary (“Hall of Fame”).
The “Starter” edition, which consists of 5,000 championship rings, begins at $9 (USD), while the “All-Star” (1,000 rings) and “Hall of Fame” rings (50 editions) are priced at $59 (USD) and $699 (USD), respectively.
As an NFT holder, fans will have access to free football game admission, on-field experiences, community-led tailgates, and other opportunities for Ram enthusiasts to connect and enjoy.
“We are thrilled to team up with Dapper Labs to give Rams fans an opportunity to be part of history and celebrate our Super Bowl championship in an unprecedented way,” said Jen Prince, Ram’s chief commercial officer in a statement.
Launched in 2018, Dapper Labs rose to prominence last year after its NBA Top Shot collection captured industry attention quickly after Beeple’s $69 million (USD) sale in March 2021. The collection surpassed $1 billion (USD) in sales, which Dapper Labs has continued to leverage in its ongoing efforts to build out its NFL All Day platform – not yet available to the public.
Since its soft launch, NFL All Day has witnessed over 186,000 collectors purchasing close to 500,000 NFT packs valued at $40 million (USD), according to Feldman. No information has been provided as to when the platform might publicly launch.
