Primarily released in a close Beta in December, Dapper Labs has reached the highly anticipated public release of its NFL All Day collectibles. Made up of a variety of NFTs featuring highlight moments and popular players — the offering resembles that of NBA Top Shot.

In a tweet Thursday, August 18, the brand shared that its first public pack drop will be Friday, and that any users who sign up for an account as of now will receive a free Patrick Mahomes NFT.

The collection is the latest in Dapper’s mission of evolving sports collectibility through a more dynamic and immersive ownership experience with NFTs. Other offerings under the platform include UFC Strike and its most popular offering NBA Top Shot, both of which utilize the Flow Blockchain.

Dapper’s NBA Top Shot was one of the first to bring officially licensed sports collectibles to the world of Web3. Since its launch it has seen over $1 billion USD in secondary sales — with NFL All Day already garnering over $37 million in secondary sales over the course of its beta, according to data from Crypto Slam.

While originally set to launch at the end of the Super Bowl, the platform decided to remain in closed beta in order to refine some elements and features for its public release.

“Once we decided that we weren’t going to launch prior to the Super Bowl last, I realized that we had the entire NFL offseason keep our heads down and focus on some of the most important features and game design elements that we want to include,” said Dapper’s Dave Feldman, senior VP of marketing and a former NFL vice president, in a statement to Decrypt.

In addition to Mahomes, who is the face of the brands latest season, and a big fan of NFTs in general — the debut public collection will also feature a number of other popular players. The “Headliners” pack is said to include names like Tom Brady, Derrick Henry, Trevor Lawrence, Jalen Ramsey, and more.
