Lamborghini Wants To Send Fans on an “Epic Road Trip” With 8-Month NFT Program

Offering fans the opportunity to visit the luxury automaker’s headquarters in Italy.

With two previous NFT endeavors in its rearview mirror, Lamborghini buckled up for its newest NFT trip in collaboration with NFT PRO and INVNT.ATOM.

Running for eight months, “The Epic Road Trip” will serve as an NFT program  through March 2023, taking collectors full throttle on a journey across space, starting from the moon and full speed ahead to iconic locations across the globe.

For one week of every month, a series of four NFTs will be released for purchase — each within a 24-hour period. Paying tribute to the Italian luxury automaker’s foundational year — 1963 — the fourth NFT will always be limited to only 63 available units.

To successfully complete the puzzle by the end of the campaign’s race, players must collect at least three NFTs each month to be rewarded with the necessary pieces for the next race. Players who are able to keep their foot on the pedal throughout The Epic Road Trip, will be awarded an ultra-rare digital asset.

While the digital asset itself remains concealed, a Lamborghini supercar will remain central to the vehicle’s final reveal in March. For those who miss an NFT drop, they can attempt to purchase from the secondary market.

Representing the adrenaline-fueled Lamborghini drive, the program will also surprise collectors with various utilities throughout the trip.

Individuals who collect all four assets during the initial four months of The Epic Road Trip, will also unlock  VIP admission to the Lamborghini Sant’Agata Bolognese’s Headquarters for the collector and one guest. Additional utilities include celebratory digital wallpapers and limited-edition artwork created by Mitja Borkert, Head of Design at Lamborghini.

“NFTs are the new, unconventional and exclusive proposition, paving the way for a new form of expression for the younger generations,” said Christian Mastro, Marketing Director of Lamborghini.

Lamborghini’s partners to The Epic Road Trip — INVNT GROUP and Web3 NFT service solution NFT PRO — have spent time working with the luxury automaker to modernize traditional collecting of its supercars.

“Lamborghini loyalists and cryptocurrency fans will be amazed by this next series of drops that culminate in a very special reveal next March,” said Christian Ferri, CEO of NFT PRO.

Several industry known automakers have already started their engines inside the metaverse, including Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Nissan, Hot Wheels, and Formula 1.
