Now available in over 100 countries through compatibility with Coinbase wallet, Dapper Labs, and Flow blockchain.
First announced in May, Meta began trials for new NFT integrations on Instagram. The offering was primarily available for select users in the U.S. but as newly announced is now available in over 100 countries around the globe.
In addition to the platform’s existing partnerships with Rainbow, MetaMask, and Trust Wallet, the new update includes compatibility with Coinbase Wallet, Dapper Labs, and the Flow blockchain.

Thanks so much for spending time with me and my hopes and learnings in Web3. “One of the most important things I’ve learned is how the space can create equity for artists who’ve yet to see equity. Historically, women, people of color, folks with disabilities and artists who identify as LGBTQ+ aren’t given as much shine in the traditional art world,” shared Vitoria during her takeover of IG’s Twitter account.
In past announcements Zuckerberg also hinted at the possibility of NFT integrations being interoperable on Facebook — but with no specifics on what blockchains might be used. Though it is assumed that it might be some of the same used on IG like Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and Flow.
