Over the next ten weeks, nearly 100 different interactive experiences will take place in The Sandbox, Animoca Brands‘ 3D metaverse – unveiling its new Alpha Season 3 (AS3).

Launching on August 24, The Sandbox will present new Web3 gameplay with content from various NFT collections’ IPs and brands.

With the platform’s largest Alpha Season yet, users will have the opportunity to explore the virtual world every day with new playable experiences launching daily.

AS3 introduces new play-and-earn gaming with new level-up possibilities, raffles, leaderboard competitions, and ensured SAND rewards for supporting the project.

Focusing on building interoperability, The Sandbox has digitalized avatars from 13 different NFT collections – welcoming over 140,000 new characters from World of Women, CoolCats, CloneX, Moonbirds, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and many more.

Connecting members from across the entire NFT community, users can be owners while engaging with different solo and multiplayer experiences inside The Walking Dead themed plot or cake throwing DJ Steve Aoki’s A0K1VERSE.

“Alpha Season 3 will bring more multiplayer experiences, more partners, more creators, more rewards for owners and players through play-and-earn mechanics, more collections, and more excitement,” said Sébastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox. “Each day will offer new and fun things to experience as we continue evolving The Sandbox metaverse.”

Guaranteeing fairness and consistency of identities inside The Sandbox, AS3 includes the implementation of a KYC system – verifying players’ identities to avoid cheating and multiple accounts when earning rewards.

With over 300,000 monthly users, AS3 provides users with one of the easiest ways to engage and connect with Web3 brand’s property rights online.

AS3’s new array of in-game events creates a Web3 ecosystem that fully embraces the idea of a shared and intersected metaverse.

The Sandbox has over 300 different partners such as The Rabbids, Gucci Vault, Adidas, Warner Music Group, and Care Bears — all bridging music, art, architecture, gaming, fashion, and entertainment to come together.
