World of Women Unveils Capacitors: A Portal Into The WoWverse

Giving life to the project’s PFPs with a customizable metaverse for holders to discover their unique digital identities.

The World of Women (WoW) the female-oriented NFT collection is transporting its holders into its new metaverse, WoWverse with the newly revealed Capacitors.

After engaging the WoW community with mysterious clues across Twitter, Discord, and NYC’s Time Square billboards, the NFT project finally surprised WoW holders with 10,000 Blue Capacitors and World of Women Galaxy (WoWG) holders with 21,738 Green Capacitors.

The airdropped Capacitors present a unique choice of opportunity to owners of WoW and WoWG NFTs.

Beginning tomorrow, holders can decide between transforming their Capacitors into a digitalized home through OnCyber, a Web3 world-building platform, or save the Capacitor – specifying another upcoming season. However, any used Capacitors in this season will not be valid in the future.

Community members looking to redeem their Capacitor will receive virtual access to the Origin Residence or Nebula Quarters – depending on the color of Capacitor received.

The mission welcomes holders into the new WoWverse designed by CEO Yam Karkai — where users will create and discover their own digital identities and interact with the greater WoW community.

“As the first female-centric NFT brand to breakthrough to the mainstream, we couldn’t be more excited for the next iteration and expansion of the WoWverse, which begins the enablement of building and empowering your digital identity in new, innovative ways,” said in a statement by Shannon Snow, WoW COO.

The Capacitors will convert the traditional PFP project into an engaging and immersive experience – giving life and a more interactive use case to the digital collectibles.

The partnership with OnCyber allows those who decide to use their Capacitor to set up their own high-end virtual home to express the holder’s own style and personality in the metaverse. OnCyber brings life to the WoW ecosystem by prompting users to curate their space designed with their owned digital assets along with the option to customize the URL link — similar to an ENS domain.

The OnCyber platform also introduces collaboration to WoW, as holders can invite different individuals from the community to their owned spaces and online galleries.

The platform has previously worked with Nike’s RTFKT to present the collection’s Space Pods toward the end of last December.

As collectors gather large volumes of digital assets, the concept of immersive NFT galleries becomes more mainstream.

Upcoming WoW Capacitors seasons plan to partner with new elements and existing NFT projects to further connect with others in the space.
