Becoming the first independent production studio to receive capital support from The Sandbox, which will serve as an IP vault for brands entering the metaverse.

Cosmo Media Labs has officially launched after being the first independent production studio to receive capital support from The Sandbox.

The multi-functional production studio, Cosmo Media Labs, launched on September 15 with a focus on content creation for gaming, as well as media strategies for IP and brand partnerships.

Bridging traditional media with Web3, the Cosmo team utilizes blockchain technologies like NFTs, P2E gaming, and the metaverse to create unique and engaging experiences for brands entering the digital landscape.

Businesses of all sizes and industries are experimenting with Web3 and blockchain technologies as restaurants continue to join Web3 and luxury fashion intersects with it. Currently, the market cap of Web3 companies inside the metaverse stands at $14.8 trillion USD.

As brands look to serve their customers in the most modern way, Cosmo Media Labs will serve as the IP home for upcoming brand experiences.

Founded by the MGM veteran and producer, Alexander Bushnell and AI-entertainment tech entrepreneur, Tobias Queisser, the two seek to generate premium content for companies and platforms looking to onboard new users through the Web3 lens.

Animoca Brands‘ The Sandbox, one of today’s leading virtual decentralized environments, views the metaverse as a new ecosystem for sharing value creation between brands, creatives, and their communities.

Additionally, Cosmo Media Labs and The Sandbox recently announced a newly formed partnership with Complex Networks. Together they will build Complex’s metaverse within The Sandbox through the development of games, social spaces, and novel experiences for the brand.

Cosmo’s first major project will focus on Web2 users’ interaction with sneakers, streetwear, and the hip-hop culture in a new digital setting — relevant to today’s prevailing technologies.

Toward the end of last week, The Sandbox also shared its new alliance with FaZe Clan, one of the most popular esports organizations in the world. The Global Offensive esports team is entering the metaverse with its new Sandbox plot titled, FaZe World. Together, the FaZe community will host digital activations and events inside FaZe World along with upcoming NFT and product drops.
