On January 13, Frederic Duquette, better known to the Web3 world as Fvckrender, will be teaming up with Manifold to launch his next project — THE REVEAL OF THE GHOST//.

Revealing over 69 days, the project will utilize a 24-hour long hybrid ranked and dutch auction model, incentivizing and creating a unique participation experience.

The works in the collection are made up of 69 still frames taken from a complete video, which will be distributed to all winning bidders at the end of the auction period as well as a pre reveal token sent to each as a place holder while they wait for reveal.

Based on his past projects and releases, it would seem that interaction is one of the key elements that lie at the heart of Fvckrender’s relationship with his fans. The artist is also very conscious of making his work available to a wide variety of collectors.

In a recent Twitter space on edition supply, he shared that his free holiday open edition was created to allow as many people as possible to experience and collect his work — which resulted in nearly 30,000 mints.

With THE REVEAL OF THE GHOST//, the supply will be drastically different, however, there are mechanisms in place to make the bidding as fair as possible for every participant.

As a hybrid between a ranked and dutch auction, one image will be released a day at 7:00 pm EST on the Manifold Marketplace. The highest bidder will receive token #69, the second highest #1, and the lowest bid #68 — from participation in the 24-hour auction period.

After the auction concludes, every bidder will be refunded the price difference between their bid and the lowest bid — this way each participant pays the same price, in an effort to democratize the bidding.

One primary goal of the project is to ensure that collectors are rewarded for their dedication and participation, through equal pricing and opportunity.

Following his physical edition release with Avant Arte and the launch of his PFP project 90s Kids, THE REVEAL OF THE GHOST// marks yet another opportunity for fans to collect a unique work from the multidisciplinary artist.
