Degen Toonz Announces Customizable Fashion Offering at NFT Paris
“The Closet” aims to bring both in-house and Web2 partner-branded digital clothing and accessories to Toonz holders for increased self-expression.
Popular NFT brand Degen Toonz has announced at NFT Paris the launch of a new ecosystem offering titled The Closet. Through this new offering, holders are able to customize their Toonz with various digital wearables, all of which will be reflected on-chain.
The new offering also opens up doors for collaboration with existing Web2 brands, which Degen Toonz shares are already in the works but has not yet revealed who the brands are at the time of writing. Executing these partnerships will come in the form of various digital clothing items and accessories.
Primarily, items from The Closet will be released to Toonz holders through the brand’s own dedicated marketplace — once claimed, these items will show up in the holder’s very own “closet.” From there, collectors can buy, sell, and trade these digital items on any supported NFT marketplace.
The Closet creates value in terms of new trading opportunities for Toonz holders and allows for increased self-expression through unique customization of their PFPs — which will now also reflect full-body avatars.
Having just celebrated its first anniversary in the NFT space, Degen Toonz has shown that no matter market conditions, a strong community, and a creative team can continue to provide value.

Reflecting on its last year of growth, Degen Toonz shared that it now has 5,000 unique holders in its ecosystem, with 80% being based in the U.S. 10% in China, and 5% in Canada — with the remaining 5% being made up of various global collectors.
Other key growth metrics it shared included over 100 million social impressions per month, 100,000 mentions per month, and that it was amongst the top 10 most utilized PFPs in the Web3 space on Twitter.
