Ralph Lauren Launches Crypto and NFT Integrations with BitPay and Poolsuite

The collaborative and innovative partnerships come as the storied brand launches its first ‘luxury concept’ store in downtown Miami.

Storied American fashion brand Ralph Lauren has announced the opening of a new “Luxury Concept” store in downtown Miami and along with it several Web3-facing integrations.

The store will be the first to accept crypto as a form of payment through a partnership with BitPay and additionally be offering NFT gifts through a collaborative effort with “Internet Leisure Corporation” Poolsuite.

While Ralph Lauren has had a variety of Web3 explorations in the past, including metaverse experiences with VR retail platform Emperia, the integration of crypto payments will be a first for the brand and initially only available at its Miami Luxury Concept store.

Visitors will be able to redeem up to 13 different digital currencies at the time of writing, including assets like Bitcoin, Ether, Polygon, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and more. Additionally, taking into consideration the volatility of the crypto markets, eligible returns or refunds will be provided in the crypto that was originally used and will be equal to the total dollar amount of the item that’s being returned.

As for its collaborative offering with Poolsuite, the brand will be gifting co-designed NFTs to all existing Poolsuite community members, with each token acting as an access pass to attend an exclusive event.

Additional perks will also be provided to holders of Poolsuite’s ‘Grand Leisure’ collection, allowing them to update their avatars with a digital Ralph Lauren look, which is also available as physical merchandise as well — all by using a dedicated vintage-vehicle-inspired ‘RL3000’ website.

The brand also noted that within the new concept store, visitors will be able to engage with interactive digital screens and explore its wide variety of products, including all items available in North America. The screens will also provide opportunities to book interactive styling appointments, integration of member wish lists, and more.

“Ralph Lauren has always been about captivating storytelling and creating enchanting worlds that bring the brand to life,” shared David Lauren, chief branding and innovation officer, according to Vogue Business, adding that Miami’s “vibrant and glamorous spirit” is an inspiring canvas to showcase the brand for “a new generation of customers in one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.”
