“On-chain gaming is a surprisingly underserved subset of the multibillion-dollar global igaming market,” said Hxro co-founder Dan Gunsberg, adding “Bitblox will bring the online gambling industry into the Web3 era, supporting Hxro Network’s goal to be the world’s largest on-chain source of derivatives and igaming liquidity.”
In order to reduce the risk of those who don’t take the opposite side of the bet and break the age-old adage of “the house always wins,” Biblox will introduce its games in a peer-to-peer format. The goal is to allow players to bet against each other in a variety of fast-paced, skill-based games that expand beyond traditional igaming.
“Bitblox dramatically expands the scope of what igaming can be,” shared Bitblox CEO Brandt Page, “explaining that “blockchain-based gaming provides additional transparency to igaming operators while giving players the ability to bet in new and engaging ways.”
The newly launched igaming studio aims to debut its first offerings to the community later this month at the CasinoBeats Summit 2023 in Malta, May 23 through 25.
